Pipsqueak and the Phillies

Here's a sneak peek from a photo shoot at Pipsqueak - the hip, trendy children's boutique located in Haddonfield, NJ. Owner, Danielle Maguire, has an amazing eye for modern & stylish threads for infants through big kids. She carries great labels like Dwell Baby, Oeuf, Tea Clothing, Appaman Clothing, Mountain Buggy, HandySitt, Hotslings and Mia Bossi - just to name a few. Pipsqueak will be offering a chance to win a children's portrait session with ME during Haddonfield's "Mom's the Word" event downtown during Mother's Day weekend. The models don nothing but the most fashionable from Pipsqueak, of course. The Phillies t-shirt is a product of Major League Baseball and something little man "O" didn't want to remove. He's a huge fan. I don't blame him :)

spring is for babies!

We have been having the most GORGEOUS weather this week here in the Delaware Valley. Probably some of the finest days we will see all year. I love it! I should probably move to California - oh, well. With spring comes babies! I have shot three bellies this week and can't wait to meet the little tenants who are about to vacate those bellies. This one just shouts, Spring is here!!!

Hello, 40!

Focus40

It's 12:02 am on April 10th, so I'm officially 40!  Wow!  Today is the official start of "Focus on 40!"  What?  "Focus on 40!" is my alternative to the 40th birthday party.  "Focus on 40!" is my way of giving back.

In August, I will be donating a week of my time and talent to photograph the candid moments of children and their families at Camp Sunshine.  Nestled alongside the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake in Maine, Camp Sunshine provides respite, support, joy and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families through various stages of a child’s illness. The year-round program is free of charge to all families, and includes 24-hour onsite medical and psychosocial support. Bereavement groups are also offered for families who have lost a child to an illness.

I decided my birthday project would be not only to donate my professional services, but to fulfill as many of the items on Camp Sunshine's WISH LIST.

Here is how you can make my "Focus on 40!" a success!

1. Make a donation to Camp Sunshine - enter "Focus on 40!" in the comment box - CLICK HERE: Camp Sunshine
